I understand Vista is beta software but it appears that this is more to do with xbox 360 than Vista. Also I find it a little strange that once it hits this can't play state, it does not seem to recover from it. If you see the above link, I've opened all the ports called for by Vista and even turned on my router's DMZ for my PC. I didn't bother with WMP11 ports since my XP machine does stream music successfully. Anyway, here are the two errors I get on the Xbox 360 Media Center that I don't get on the PC.

The media center just shows the xbox disconnecting. Network tests show everything to be ok; it can transfer at about 40mbps. I'm at my wit's end on this one; I can't figure out what the deal is.
